Welcome to The Germantown Inn (the “Inn,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 1218 6th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37208, and managed by Hallson Hospitality (“Hallson”). By accessing our website, making a reservation, or staying at the Inn, you (“you” or “Guest”) agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website or booking a reservation with us, you confirm that you are at least 21 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Reservations
- Reservations are required for all stays and may be made online at https://germantowninn.com/ or by phone at (615) 581-1218.
- At the time of booking, a 50% deposit is required to guarantee the booking.
- The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the payment method on file 3 days prior to check-in.
- Rates are based on single or double occupancy; additional guests may incur extra charges.
- All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation.
- Rates, availability, and promotional offers are subject to change without notice and do not apply retroactively to existing reservations.
3. Cancellation Policy
- To avoid a cancellation charge, please notify the Inn at least 48 hours prior to your arrival date.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to arrival will be charged 50% of the total reservation cost.
- No-shows will be charged for the full reserved stay.
- Early departures are charged according to the original reservation; no refunds or credits will be issued for unused nights.
- We strongly encourage guests to secure trip cancellation insurance to protect against unexpected changes of plans.
4. Check-In / Check-Out
- Standard check-in begins at 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Check-in and check-out times will be reflected during booking and in your reservation confirmation.
- Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
5. Pet Policy
- Pets are welcome only in our two designated Pet Friendly Suites: The Adams and The Parks.
- We welcome dogs, up to two per reservation, with no breed or weight restrictions.
- A $50 pet fee applies per reservation.
- Dogs must be housebroken.
- Guests must pick up after their dog, both in the yard and elsewhere on the property, and dispose of waste in the designated trash cans/dumpsters.
- Dogs should not cause excessive noise or disturb other guests or staff.
- Dogs are not allowed in the breakfast area, but are welcome to join their owners for breakfast in the outdoor garden.
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pet, and charges will apply as needed, in addition to the pet fee.
- If a suite requires excessive cleaning due to a pet (excessive hair, stains, odor, accidents, etc.), an additional cleaning fee of up to $250 may be assessed.
- Guests are responsible for their pets’ behavior at all times and may not leave pets unattended in a manner that causes disturbance to other guests or staff.
6. Smoking Policy
- Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property, including guest suites, common indoor areas, porches, decks, and outdoor areas.
- A $500 fee applies if smoke of any kind is detected in a room.
- Violation of this policy may result in additional cleaning fees and immediate removal from the property without refund.
7. Damage Policy
- Guests are responsible for any damage to the Inn, its furnishings, or its property caused by their negligence or misconduct, or that of their guests.
- Guests will be charged for the actual cost to repair or replace damaged items and restore the affected suite or area to its original condition.
- Charges for damage may be applied to the payment method on file for the reservation.
8. Guest Conduct
- Guests agree to conduct themselves in a manner that does not disturb other guests, staff, or neighbors.
- Guests may not engage in illegal activity.
- Zero tolerance for the property being used as a “home base” for parties or for visitors coming and going.
- The Inn reserves the right to refuse service or remove any guest from the property, without refund, for conduct that is illegal, unsafe, or seriously disruptive.
- The number of overnight occupants per suite may not exceed the maximum occupancy communicated at booking.
9. Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Guests should keep outdoor noise levels down during quiet hours out of respect for other guests and neighbors.
10. Rates and Payment
- All rates are quoted in U.S. dollars and are subject to applicable state and local taxes and fees.
- Payment is processed securely through our booking platform (Kismet) and payment processor. We do not store full credit card numbers.
- A valid credit card is required to guarantee all reservations.
11. Website Use
- Content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of The Germantown Inn and/or Hallson Hospitality and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.
- You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site or interfere with any other party’s use of it.
- We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of information on this website but do not guarantee that all content, including rates and availability, is error-free or current at all times.
12. Third-Party Services
Our booking and payment functionality is provided through Kismet and Guesty. Your use of these services in connection with a reservation is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies:

13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Germantown Inn and Hallson Hospitality, along with their owners, employees, and agents, are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of this website or your stay at the Inn, including but not limited to loss of personal property, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
Guests are encouraged to secure their own travel and personal property insurance.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Germantown Inn and Hallson Hospitality, and their respective owners, employees, and agents, from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your stay at the Inn, or your misuse of this website.
15. Force Majeure
Neither party will be liable for failure to perform obligations under these Terms due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, government action, labor disputes, or other Acts of God.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
